Staff Bios

Campus Minister:Ande Johnson
I was born on the outskirts of Pittsburgh PA, but spent most of my life in Naples Florida. Growing up I fell in love with all things outdoors (especially fishing, which became an addiction). After graduating from high-school I attended THE University of Central Florida to play baseball and get a business degree. While at UCF I met my beautiful wife Kelly. After graduating I went on to get my Masters of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary, right down the road in Oviedo.

Things you need to know about me:
I love all sports.
UCF is my college team!! There is no other!!
I hate Mayo!
I love the Food Network!
Cooking is one of my favorite things.
Taking pictures is another.
Drinking Coffee is another.
My thyroid doesn’t work.
I once got put in the hospital by a UCF professor who kicked me! (true story)

Wife of campus minister: Kelly Johnson
I was born in Jacksonville, Fl and grew up just outside the city in Green Cove Springs. Growing up, I was a big nerd and was in the reading club in Junior High. Being so well-read helped me out, though: I got great scholarships to college! I went to the University of Central Florida and received a B.S. and M.A. in communicative disorders. I now work as a speech-language pathologist in a nursing home and LOVE IT!

Things you need to know about me:
I am addicted to HGTV.
Order and cleanliness are important to me.
I need a Pepsi if I’m having a bad day.
I like to work out.
Publix commercials make me cry. (They’re so sweet!)
Vigilantes of Love is my all-time favorite band.
I’m a big fan of Real Simple Magazine.
I hate mayo.

Scout

Scout was the first German Shorthair Pointer in Florida history to get over an 1100 on his S.A.T.’s. Deciding against a career in medicine he decided to invest the rest of his life catching lizards and getting mocked by squirrels. In his free time Scout enjoys yoga and reading old issues of Home & Garden. If you would like to have Scout speak at a conference or pizza party….get in line like everybody else.

He is 3 years old
Can jump further than any dog ever
Weighs over 80 lbs yet is a self proclaimed lap dog
Eats fruits and veggies
Hates mayo
His only college team is UCF!!
