Classes, Football, and Hurricanes-
And so it begins… Monday reigns in the first officially full week of classes. No more labor-less Labor Days, we instead have a full week of classes! Add/Drop is over, and the dust begins to settle. Hopefully we will see all of you + some at Large Group this Tuesday Night @ 8pm on the 2nd floor of the Student Union. Please keep checking the website, or join the Facebook group, RUF @ UCF, for updates on potential room changes. For those of you there last Tuesday, we acknowledge the surround sounds… and we hope to soon move to the promise land (aka the dungeon). We will keep you updated though
Ready football fans? Tomorrow begins the tournaments of tournaments- UCF vs. USF. They are sort of our rival school, and now they are on our TURF!
Also this weekend is Bible Study Training. This is for those of you interested in leading a Bible study, or just want to learn more about studying the Bible. Sid is leading this training beginning Sunday from 2p-4p at the Panera Bread on University Blvd. If you need more info or a ride please email me @ mirandakearley@cox.net! We will have more specific details with regards to Bible Studies and Small Groups next Tuesday. Small groups are a great way to really get to dive into the Word, deep discussion, and to know and develop relationships with more people
So basically, we as RUFers love to hang, party, drink coffee, play volleyball, watch football, rock climb, watch movies, scrapbook, play music, go to concerts, and eat food. Plus much more. Basically we love and want to love people. Thus, we want and hope to encourage fellowship and fun! So if you want to host something you are passionate about, or want to hang out with people who are passionate about similar things we want to get you connected. We want to come to your parties just as badly as we want you to come to ours… So lets hang.
Speaking of hanging– rock climbing reunion next Friday night @ Aiguille @ 6pm. Basically it will be people who love to climb or want to learn to climb or want to just try something different! Its something I really enjoy and want to share it with others, so holla if you wanna go! We will carpool. Let me know if you are interested or need a ride. It will be much fun! mirandakearley@cox.net
Oh and one more thing- for those of you who grew up in Florida tracking storms, or for those of you not so sure about this whole hurricane thing, check out this site I recently discovered… it can help keep you up to date. http://www.stormpulse.com
